Block Aero's information security management system (ISMS) has been certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 by the Aviation Suppliers Association Certification Body (ASA CB). Certificate BLOC-001-06-26-27 was issued on 11 June 2026 and is valid through 10 June 2029, subject to annual surveillance.
The certified scope covers the design, development, and maintenance of the Block Aero platform for data digitization — the systems behind the digital passports, registries, and data packages our customers rely on. Certification was assessed against the current 2022 revision of the standard, with controls documented in our Statement of Applicability (v2.0.0).
For an aviation records platform, security is not a feature — it is the product. Owners, lessors, MROs, OEMs, and regulators only benefit from a shared system of record if they can trust how that record is protected. ISO/IEC 27001 is the international benchmark for managing information security risk, and independent certification means our controls have been audited and verified by an accredited third party rather than simply asserted by us.
The certification is delivered by ASA CB, the certification body of the Aviation Suppliers Association — an assessor with deep roots in the aviation supply chain the platform serves.
