Block Aero has been admitted to the 25th intake of the Cyberport Incubation Programme, established by the Hong Kong government to support technology startups.
The program provides support and funding to accelerate product development and market adoption. In addition to 24-months of rent-free office space in Hong Kong, Cyberport will provide Block Aero with financial assistance in the form of cash and subsidies.
Cyberport is an innovative digital community with over 1000 tech companies. It is committed to nurturing start-ups and entrepreneurs to grow in the digital industry by connecting them to strategic partners and investors, driving collaboration with local and international business partners, and accelerating digital adoption amongst corporates and SMEs.
Block Aero is preparing to expand its Hong Kong operations to address increasing interest among aviation organizations in the Asia Pacific region to explore new applications of blockchain and artificial intelligence.
The backing of Cyberport will enable Block Aero to fully leverage talent from Hong Kong’s world class universities, join the territory’s efforts to develop as a hub for the aviation finance community, and contribute to the bustling entrepreneurial scene in Southern China.
