Todd has 16 years of experience executing projects in commercial aerospace manufacturing, MRO, aftermarket and aviation finance. He has been named as one of the Aviation Week Top 40 Under 40 Executives. Todd formed Block Aero in 2017 with a mission to bring enhanced efficiency, safety, security and trust across the aviation industry through improved digitalization.
Adam has built software for most of his adult life and has over 15 years experience as a full-stack developer. He has spent his career developing enterprise-grade solutions for the healthcare and manufacturing sectors. Adam was quick to see the potential of distributed ledger technology, joining Todd in 2017 to found Block Aero.
Lucas spent over 5 years in mainland China in business development and fundraising roles, working for both hedge funds and investment firms. He worked with HNWIs across Asia and institutional investors such as Ivy League endowments, pension funds and sovereign wealth funds.
Carlos has spent his career building software products from scratch for a variety of industries including fintech, insurtech, retail, hospitality and healthcare. He has extensive experience in product strategy, management, and design, and excels at fostering cross-functional collaboration to build successful products.
Som has spent more than 20 years working in sales and marketing for leading Silicon Valley tech companies. Today she is an award-winning global marketer, supporting Block Aero with its enterprise sales campaigns. Her expertise spans across B2B SaaS, web3, adtech and novel AI solutions.
Brent has held leadership roles for a number of aviation aftermarket businesses, with experience working for parts distributors, aircraft teardown companies and industry associations. Brent brings decades of practical experience delivering digital transformation projects and supports Block Aero implementing process automation features across its workflow management tools.
Captain John Owens has over 30 years of leadership experience in the aviation industry. John played a vital role in the largest airline merger in history between American Airlines and US Airways.
Lasse is an investor and advisor to several global early stage technology startups. He has over 13 years experience developing and growing startups, with a focus on business development, finance and digital marketing.
Tiwa is an active angel investor and entrepreneur. He founded and helmed Kaidee, Thailand’s largest C2C marketplace, which was acquired by Dubai’s EMPG in 2020. He currently serves as advisor and board member for several technology companies in South East Asia.

He has 13+ years of developing and growing startups, where his focus has been on business development, finance and digital marketing. Lasse has a Masters degree in applied finance and his personal “why” is to enjoy the intellectual challenge of growing new businesses while helping people grow with them.
