Job Description
The candidate will work to develop the backend of the Block Aero platform. They will take responsibility for the development of features and enhancements of the web application that will provide the functionality for the front end as well as integrations with external systems. They will work collaboratively with the development team to build out our product roadmap. 

Responsibilities

• Produce functional, testable code based on specifications.
• Produce unit tests based on specifications.
• Maintain codebase in accordance with branching and coding style guidelines.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science or relevant technical subject
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Picking up functions of the existing code base and improving upon them
• Experience in .NET and C#
• Experience in REST APIs
• Experience in Git
• Experience in SQL/Postgres

Desirable Skills

• Experience with integrating applications with ERP systems
• Experience working at an airline, MRO, OEM or other relevant organization in the aerospace supply chain is highly desirable
• Keen interest in blockchain technology and its impact on the world both today and in the future
• Experience integrating blockchain functions into a front end application
